Back to the real world again

After having a pretty long break in Easter holidays, I feel like I have been really lazy... really lazy to get back to the real world. Boohoo... think about how to work less and rest more everyday.

More than 12 days, it is quite a lot for me to enjoy. Some are nice and some are terrible but they are still considered a really nice memory. Let me have a short summary of this holiday. Let me talk about the accommodations first... Anyway, I just don't want to make u feel like I went for a luxury life.

One the very first day... the night I have already told you it was a nightmare to stay a night at San Va hotel. I just can believe finally we met this kind of hotel again in Bangkok. Since we have almost got lost with the hotel we have ordered... we just checked our tour guide book and tried our best to find a nice one and put down our backpack. We just wanted to spend more time as a real tour instead of keep looking for a night room to stay. I believed it was a really nice price to have a single bedroom with $50 only. More to be unpredicted and found out it actually next to the club... all night with you can say as hip hop and rb music. I just can't get into it. When I tried to sleep... I've already believed they don't really clean the room. This is my worst experience so far. You may say I have stayed at a really nice guesthouse to make me feel like that room was really terrible.

Besides the guesthouse in Bangkok, I have stayed at three really nice hotel/guesthouse. The first one was Heritage Station Hotel which used to be the biggest hotel in KL and just right next to the KL central station. It is sad the "central" has already moved to another place as the place you know and you can find twins town. The hotel is really old and huge (if we compare to those opened at the same time). However, you can't find any old decoration or renovation anymore. Everything has to be taken over by so called luxury lifestyle - air-con. You can see a really bad false ceiling inside every single room.

The next one is Eastern Heritage guesthouse in Melaka. It is also a really old one and almost 100 years. There was a really nice manager who came from South Africa. The room wasn't big, with no air-con... everything is for sharing. Luckily, the early booking finally brought us the only room with real windows. You can say it was an amazing experience. On the very last day, I found out a secret about the small hole which was made for security use. Just by listening to the sound which was made by fan, I felt like I was in one of the most wonderful time I have been.

Cathay Hotel in Penang was a bit misery. Misery as something strange happened but I should not talk in detail. I just hope I stayed a bit longer. The room on the top floor is amazing.

馬六甲

離開吉隆坡約兩小時的車程，終於到達了充滿中國色彩的馬六甲。最好的「觀光」方法就是單車旅行。最後下榻了一所超過一百年歷史的旅店，還是唯一的前座。

戰前建成的中國式建築一路上隨處可見，大部份也不少於一百年歷史，可惜大多隨了商業以外就是破落的空房。或許人類都是好新棄舊，最後也只得「人去樓空」。這兩天就像一般旅客般到各大少博物館，當中最吸引的是曾氏家旅的祖屋。最意外的是鄭和在他們當地人的心目中是多麼重要，甚至把他的畫像放於最「潮流」的購物中心外。

Finally in KL Malayasia

With free ticket from Airasia airline, I have to be a less responsible person to put down all my duty and works and going to spend more than 12 days from Macau, Malayaisa and to thailand. I still don't know how can manage to finish all my homework before the deadline and just received the news about a job interview. It just likes last time I had to do the fitness test.

KL is a lovely city with really nice people and mixes with malay, indian and chinese but it is a bit too commercial like Singapore.

Last night, I spent a night at the heritage station hotel which right next to the oldest railway station but it looks terrible at night but it was still a lot better than San Va.

San Va Hospedaria

After a whole day of work... another asia tour has began.

Tonight supposed to be a wonderful night to stay at San Va Hospedair in Macau due to the early flight of this morning. It was a really nice experience but I would not tell you it is a wonderful place. If you are interested to spend some hours to experience the place, you should try and see how it goes.

There is not much than watching 2046 and Isabella spend a night there and be able to make a early flight. Day time and night are one whole different story at San Va Hospedair and the street. You can say it is a really nice place to stay at a really historical building which has more than 100 years history in Macau.

It gives us a lot of question marks about how we book the room and how to confirm the booking. It was strange the old man who as a front desk officer or reception who didn't even know who has booked the room and keep suspecting I am someone else.

When we started to admire the room with beautiful painting before sleeping, we tried to believe it was going to be a sleepless night. 1. many people keep walking up and down to the building through all night. 2. I still can't believe how many mosques kept flying whole night and how hungrey they are... I can't only tell you I haven't really slept.
